What to expect

What do I wear?

You are welcome just as you are and to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Most people dress casually, a few like to dress up a bit - it really doesn’t matter.

Where do I sit?

You can sit where you feel most comfortable. There are no reserved seats. One of our welcome team will show you where to go if this is your first visit.

Is there a cost?

Financial support of the work of the Church is an important responsibility for our members, not guests or newcomers.

We do have a collection plate that is left at the back of the church in our Sunday services, but if you are visiting or checking us out we don't expect you to pay anything, and you will not be put under pressure to do so. If you want to make a donation then that is warmly appreciated but please don't feel as if you have to. Just come along and enjoy the service!

Is the building accessible?

We aim to make our building, services and activities accessible and inclusive to everyone. The building has step-free access to one of our entrances via a ramp and there is a disabled parking area on Loushers Lane outside the church. There is an accessible toilet in our toilet area off The Hub. The main church has microphones and a T-loop system. The words of hymns and songs are displayed on a large TV screen, but large print paper copies are available on request.

Where can I park?

The church has no car park, but there is plenty of parking available on the surrounding streets. In front of the church on Loushers Lane there is space designated for three disabled parking places alongside space for other vehicles. People also park in Wash Lane and Pearson Avenue, which are very close to the church.
